I am honored to have been working in this field for 10+ years. I have worked with many people in the most dire of circumstances and been witness to them transforming their experiences into a life of purpose. I have worked extensively with individuals in crisis whether a recent or past event. I have specifically helped people that have been suicidal, suffer from trauma, have been involved in corrections or the prison system, foster care, Division of Child & Family Services, and those struggling with personality disorders. I have additional experience in substance use and addiction treatment.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of Utah and Masters
Degree in Counseling/Mental Health Counseling from University of Phoenix. I went on to specialize and receive a certificate from the University of Utah Addictions Program in
Addictions Counseling. I have a background working with children and teens using art and play therapy.
I enjoy working with people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences having the privilege to help each person heal in their way. Working in this field inspires me daily and I see so many humans grow and learn from who they have been into who they can be. I will provide support, coping tools, a safe place and the therapy intervention needed in your journey.
