Hi there,
My name is Elise Beckstead.
About two years ago I was told that the city where I live was putting a traffic light right in front of my home, causing my home to be the direct center of where the road T’s off. The news of this caused me great stress and anxiety to the point of having to be medicated. As I searched to find a natural resolution I discovered my love of paper, and “Paper Love” was born! The timing was perfect as I had been searching for beads in the retail stores and had been disappointed to find all of the same sizes and designs everywhere I went. Nothing was unique, or different. I love that with the paper, I am able to help save our planet by repurposing paper and I am creating unique pieces that are one of a kind. As I have created each beautiful bead I could feel my blood pressure come down and the stop light didn’t bother me quite so bad. I think I’ll live through it. There is no limit to what I can create with paper, it seems like every day is a new discovery, the possibilities are endless and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
